A three-day youth revival crusade in Mbale drew record crowds this week, with organisers estimating attendance of over 15,000 people on the closing night alone.
The event featured performances from youth choirs, personal testimonies and evening sermons led by a lineup of visiting evangelists from across the region.
"We wanted to create a space where young people could encounter faith in a way that feels alive and relevant to them," said the crusade's lead organiser.
Local church leaders say interest in youth-focused gospel events has grown steadily across eastern Uganda in recent years.
